Serenity Under the Trees

Follow all signs to Pissouri and Columbia Beach Resort. Don’t be tempted to stop at the many tourist trap beach bars. Stick to the road, drive up and around the resort towards Pissouri village, and then left down the hill with the resort on your left side. Follow until the road blends into sand and stones.

There’s no overpriced umbrellas here. No cocktail umbrellas either. No beach boys demanding cash. Also no cafe serving 5 euro freddo. This is DIY spot. Come prepared with chairs, an ice-cold-KEO-filled cool box and your favourite book.

The water is warm this time of year (July). Go for a dip, but watch out for the pebble stones. Apart from the occasional water-sports boat towing thrilled tourists up and down the coast, it’s quiet and therapeutic. The ultimate getaway from busy Limassol. Enjoy!
