The highlight of my trip to Genova was definitely visiting cinque terre!! It’s 100% worth going if you’re nearby as all the little villages are beautiful. I visit riomaggiore and manarola. The food and drink spots aren’t too expensive. We had coffee in riomaggiore at a place called “ la conchiglia” and we ate in manarola at trattoria la scogliera. The train ticket to get there costs around 8€, if I remember correctly. Finally, on the way back you can stop in Santa Margherita and take the bus to Portofino. There are 2-3 things to do, but honestly, I’d suggest not buying anything🫠
